Kate Baumwol is a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist (CPSP).
Her specialist interest is in the management of voice disorders, chronic cough and paradoxical vocal fold movement.
Since receiving a Bachelor of Speech & Hearing Science from Curtin University in 2002, Kate has held senior positions at several teaching hospitals: including Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, Campbelltown Hospital, Sydney and St Vincent’s Hospital, Sydney, working closely with Respiratory and Ear Nose and Throat medical teams.
She currently co-ordinates the Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital combined Ear, Nose and Throat and Speech Pathology Voice Clinic and is an adjunct lecturer at Curtin University, teaching in the area of voice disorders.
Kate is also the Western Australian representative for the Laryngology Society of Australasia and a member of the Australian Voice Association and Speech Pathology Australia.
